How much do you charge?
Our prices start from £149 for a Self Assessment tax return, £249 for sole trader accounts, £499 for limited company accounts and £99 a month for small business accounting. Your exact fee depends on the size and needs of your business, and we agree it with you in writing before we start work.
Can you take over from my current accountant?
Yes. We can contact your previous accountant for the information we need, review where your records stand and take over from there, including telling HMRC we are acting for you once you have authorised us.
Do you work with Xero and QuickBooks?
Yes. We work in both, and we can help you move to cloud accounting if you are still using spreadsheets or paper records.
Can you help with Making Tax Digital?
Yes. We file VAT returns through Making Tax Digital compatible software and can help you prepare for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, which is being phased in for sole traders and landlords in stages from April 2026.
Do you only work with businesses in Leytonstone?
No. We work with clients across London and the UK, meeting at our Leytonstone office by appointment or by phone and video.
What size of business do you work with?
Mainly small businesses: limited companies, sole traders and landlords. If you are not sure whether we are the right fit, get in touch and we will tell you honestly.
Are you regulated?
Yes. AF Coopers & Co is registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and our accountants hold ACCA and ACA qualifications.
